If you thought that Amazon’s Kindle is merely a reader which is wireless in nature, then you got it wrong. Many of us aware of other facilities of the Kindle, but not many of know that Kindle can be used to play mp3. So, if a friend of you tells you that he or she listens to a song on their Kindle, do not think that they are lying. Yes, kindle can be used to listen to Mp3 format music too. You can transfer MP3s to your kindle and listen to them whenever you feel like. But we should all understand that the primary purpose of a Kindle is not playing music, but it is a reader; so it is quite obvious that it the sound quality and facilities as a music player are limited. Kindle is not a feature packed music player, so you cannot play files in your desired order, they are played in random manner. Kindle has the capacity to read mp3 and VBR file format. You can copy the songs to your kindle by pressing a combinational Key of Alt and P from your PC; you can have thousands of songs on your kindle. In the following section I would like to guide you through the steps by which you can play songs from your Kindle. Step 1: Check whether you are in your home screen, if not then move to the home screen. From there you should scroll down to the menu selection option and opt for select wheel. Step 2: You should select the option ‘Experimental’ and you would be shown an option of ‘Play Music’; select it and experience some quality music on your Kindler. You can opt for ‘stop music’ through various options like home menu or experimental menu. Another option by which you can stop playing music is by pressing the ALT key with the combination of P key. There are various other shortcuts too and one such that is needed by all is fast forwarding, you can simply press the combination of ALT and F key and move to the next track. Kindle is an effective music player too; if you always thought that reading is all you can use your kindle for, then your thought and judgment about the Kindle must have changed. Though they are not the best in playing music, but you never expect a reader of such class to have other facilities too. So, if you really think of getting a reader that plays quality music too, then Kindle should be your obvious choice.
